VISION
Inequity is a symptom of bad design. A symptom of a system designed to exclude a minority. The solution seems rather simple - to redesign the system, however, this has proven to be one of the biggest challenges of the 21st century.
Women in Design, India is a female led and initiated community that tackles the gender bias in South Asia's design industry.
We’re built with love and intention; to empower female creatives to disrupt society and take on leadership roles to present a diverse set of perspectives throughout the design process. How do we do this? In multiple ways really — empowering entrepreneurship, encouraging a shared vault of powerful tools and experiences, and promoting healthy conversations.

Women in Design is designed with intention; to empower female creatives to disrupt society and take on leadership roles to present a diverse set of perspectives throughout the design process.
We aim to empower and inspire women in creative professions to become disruptive creative leaders, celebrating the change-makers of today and tomorrow. We're a community-first organisation, working hard to rediscover the rich creative heritage South Asia has to offer. Prioritising inclusivity & diversity, we build resources, tools, methodologies, platforms and a community to help them succeed.
